Things that inspired me to write this blog

Hi Happy Readers,

I've got a little story that may interest you.

Over the years I've met so many people from different walks of life. Despite the challenges of life that we all encounter from time to time, I've found life extremely fascinating, invigorating and beautiful. However, I still see so... many unhappy people around, which is difficult to comprehend, especially when these people appear to be normal, healthy and relatively capable people with reasonable jobs, family and financial position.

On the contrary, many of those who are clearly, genuinely and seriously ill or disadvantaged seem to be more grateful for their life. It shows you that those normal people take their normality, good health and fortune for granted and forget to show gratitude, which I find sad really.

O... well, I guess that's the reason why blogs like this are handy, so we can all remind ourselves how we can be more grateful for our lives and everything in it.

I am writing this blog to share my happy experiences with my hope that they help others to become happier and to appreciate this precious life more. I would also like to learn from other bloggers and blog readers who have positive thoughts and don't mind sharing with me.

So... first of all, I hope you've had a happy and dynamic day. I think of 3 things that make me feel happy everyday and I hang on to those thoughts and feelings for as long as I can or until the next day when I find other 3 positive things.

I personally had a fantastic day today. I spent a lot of time with my good friends and we talked a lot about healthy eating and positive thinking.

I had work lunch with 12 work mates and then went to dinner after work with another group of friends from my previous job. I don't usually eat out very often, simply to avoid eating too much fattening food and to save money for other priorities like traveling for example. Today was just a special day for one of my colleague's farewell get together and catching up with friends before the festive season.

Both events were fantastic, particularly at dinner time. As the restaurant was by the sea, while eating and chatting, we were looking out the window facing the calm blue sea water watching a couple of seals and a dolphin swimming across our view. It was such a beautiful moment and I will remember that moment for a long time.

Christmas is coming soon and you may have plans to eat out with your work friends and family members too. If so, why don't you choose a restaurant with a beautiful view and delicious food. If eating out is not your thing and you feel a bit bored, why don't you find some activities that will make you smile, maybe walking on the beach, reading your favourite book or whatever that tickles your fancy. Go ahead and enjoy it. Don't forget to share your experience with me though..he..he.. By... for now.
